Meteor was sired by Tetse 394 who won many championships in harness as studbook stallion.

The dam of Meteor is Tamina, a studbook daughter of Oepke 266 and star mare Ifigenian. Oepke 266 is the least well known of the Studbook sons of Wessel 237 Preferent. He was slightly more layed back in his attitude than his half brothers.

Grand dam Ifigenian was sired by the great Lammert 260 Preferent whose bloodline is sought after to minimise inbreeding. Lammert 260 is found in the blood of both parents of Meteor.

The sire of Tete 394 is Gradus 356 who was by legendary Reitse 272 Preferent out of a well known Oege 267 Preferent daughter, Gretha Star Preferent.

Meteor has bred some beautiful baroque type Friesian foals. He inherited a lot of the baroque looks from grand sire Gradus.
