Telula

Telula is a stunning 15.1 H Buckskin Friesian x Boerperd mare. She was born in 1989. Telula is substantial mare with a temperament to die for! She has a lovely big stride and correct conformation.

We purchased Telula in 2000 and later found out she was in foal, unfortunately we do not know which stallion covered her. Along came Tonté, a beautiful 16.1H Bay gelding. Tonté has inherited all her good traits. And has a wonderful temperament like his dam. Tonté excells at dressage and has a amazing extended trot.

In 2009 Telula had her last foal out of Imported Lusitano stallion Sabio producing an outstanding colt. Far Hills Sunburst has since been sold on to a wonderful home.

Telula has now been retired as a broodmare and will live out the rest of her days with us at far Hills as a riding horse.
